August 2025 saw the arrival of our newest recruit, Martin Salt. Martin is an extremely experienced solicitor, having qualified in 2007. Although he has dealt with different areas of the law over the years including Conveyancing, Matrimonial law and Litigation, he has specialised in the Private Client field, offering expert advice and guidance to many satisfied clients. 

Martin has a longstanding involvement with the Derby & District Law Society, having previously held the roles of both Vice President and President. He has a keen interest cricket, darts and rugby as well keeping up to date with the latest technology. 

Martin has hit the ground running within our busy Private Client department, bringing a wealth of fresh ideas to the table. He has already helped to streamline a number of processes, suggesting subtle, yet productive changes to improve how the department has historically been run. His arrival has brought a new air of positivity to the firm as a whole and we look forward to a very bright future with Martin leading the Private Client department forward.
